the brief
Shortly after purchasing 6 North Point Ave as a new investment property, the owners came to palomalilydesigns with a clear vision: transform the existing home into a warm, family-friendly holiday retreat — a space they could genuinely enjoy on their own visits, and one that would perform beautifully as a short-term rental between stays.
the approach
This was a full curation project from the ground up. Every selection across the home was considered, from the couches anchoring the living space to the cutlery in the kitchen drawers, with a single brief in mind: create somewhere that feels as good for a family holiday as it does for a paying guest.

Furniture, artwork and lighting were sourced and styled room by room, both inside and out, balancing durability for high-turnover Airbnb use with the layered, elevated feel of a genuine holiday home rather than a generic rental. Beach towels and everyday essentials sit alongside luxury linen and considered styling details, practical where guests need practical, elevated where it counts.
the outcome
The result is a property that works on every level it needs to: a home the owners are proud to holiday in themselves, and a listing that photographs beautifully and delivers a guest experience worth returning for — from the first impression at the entry through to the smallest detail on a bedside table.
